Footwear Affair

Hey readers! Yeah, went with the hiatus stage again. But not to worry. I might do some self fashion photo shoot again. Fingers crossed. Hehe.

My internet connection is not on its best condition these days. When will they ever get reliable. Hmmm....
Anyways, have you seen Lady Gaga's latest music video Bad Romance? The part where she was wearing AlexanderMcQueen's shoes? I mean I could definitely imagine Lady Gaga to be the one sporting the shoes as she epitomizes eccentricity and wild imagination.

Clearly it's only in the name of haute couture and art but I do appreciate such unusual creation. However for everyday wear, I believe in wearing something comfortable with heels not exceeding three inches.
But when it comes to shopping, flats are the best. We all know we need that extra comfort to move from one shop to another.

These look comfy enough. Both are Jimmy Choo's. But of course not all of us have the big bank to afford these sandals. You can always find inspired versions.

Haha! Yeah, I had this in the previous post. It's one of my fav dresses because of its uniqueness and I can definitely see myself wearing this either for a casual day or a fabulous night out. But I'm sure you guys can do better than this! :)

Self Fashion Photos 2

It's the time of the day when I feel like doing a self fashion mock photo shoot. Haha! If you're wondering where you could find the clothes I'm wearing in these pics, well truth is I'm not really sure if you can get them else where. I mean when I bought them (except the last pic), they were each one unique piece. But then again, you might find them somewhere.
I like this dress cos it kinda gives that butterfly effect. Haha.

I bought this dress to wear for Halloween but sorta changed my mind. I think it's a nice casual dress.

I bought the top above from Candellila Online Boutique. They have dresses and tops which suit my taste. So, it's no surprise that I bought 4 more clothes from them. Likey!
It was really hot this afternoon that I only managed to wear 3 styles. I was like bathing in sweat. Hope to do more soon. Of course, when I have the free time. Cheers!

The Night of Halloween

So I came as Lady Gaga for the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering. Hehe. I've been wanting to impersonate her ever since I saw the Lady Gaga makeup tutorial by Michelle Phan. I'm a fan of Lady Gaga's music too. :)

In case you're wondering how did I come about with my outfit, it's a crisscross between these two outfits which she sported in the early days of her fame.
Of course I have made a few changes here and there to not look overly sexy. We all know how sexy and extreme she can be.
I didn't have the bow hair so I did my own version of bow by wearing a pink bow belt. Notice that she was wearing pink heels in the first pic. The hooded black jacket was my version of Lady Gaga's hooded red dress (which was sometimes in black colour too ). Then there were the fingerless gloves which I emulated from her Poker Face music video ( which was in grey colour ).
I couldn't find white pattern tights so I opted for the black ones. The dress and shoes were to complete the overall look and not forgetting a pair of black square frames glasses. Phew! Oh yeah, I did my analysis. But I'm still quite disappointed for not being able to wear a blonde wig. Grrr!
Anyways, here are some random pictures during the night. I just sort of took pictures candidly to have a look at the surrounding and also the Halloween costumes people were donning.
