I'll try not to sound over-excited about the fact that I'm going to Bali in March. OMG! I just can't. I'm over the moon!
Truth is, what makes it so special for me is that I'm going with a group of friends and I'll be meeting a few of them for the very first time. I'm always welcoming new friends. Maybe I'm a people person after all.
Another thing which excites me is what I'm gonna wear throughout the trip. I mean..seriously. Who doesn't wanna look good on her trip.
So, I've been thinking what kind of ensemble it would be. The very basic ensemble which is really a no-brainer would be a tank top and a pair of shorts. It might be a tad boring. But I'll be taking cue from the Europeans. They have the knack of putting together an effortlessly chic look.
Personally, on a trip like this, I wouldn't care to wear what's hot or not right now. I'm more into feeling comfy and confident.
Although I can't swim to save my life, I'm a fan of wearing bikinis under fabulous cover-ups. I'm also a fan of wearing something which shows just enough amount of skin for sexiness to show through.
Maybe something like this. It's the off-the-shoulder t.shirt dress in spa blue from Victoria's Secret. Love it.
Or wear a cute mini skirt paired with whatever cute tops we have.
This chiffon skirt with elastic waistband from Forever21 can be a good substitute for that usual pair of shorts. Lightweight clothes are the way to go for that warm and sunny trip.
In my next shopping list I guess? ;)
