Watch with love

If you ask me, what is one of the things that I really cherish throughout the years of my life; it would be my humble watch. It has been with me for 12 years. My mom purchased it for me when I still couldn’t afford to buy one for myself. Back then life was not as convenient as today. So for my mom to fork out some money just to meet my demand of having a good watch really made it beyond valuable.

I guess it’s true when you give something out of love, there’s some kind of miracle that comes with it. I may sound weird but it’s what I have experienced. I lost it quite a few times but somehow I managed to find it again. The last time I lost it, I thought maybe it’s time to get a new one. Then one day, it’s just there under my piles of clothes. Haha. I know it’s the case of misplacing things but yeah, it happened more than once.
Cultural beliefs aside, I think a watch makes a great gift. I especially love watches with diamond embellishment.

My Bali Trip

Hey there. This is just a copy from my lifestyle blog. I guess I'm just too lazy to blog about it all over again in this blog. I know I didn't say anything regarding fashion. But that will be soon. In the meantime, enjoy the not so long trip post. :)

We stayed in Karthi Hotel, Kuta. I think it's quite a strategic place as we could just go about on foot to the shops and Kuta Beach nearby. Thanks to our friend who had chosen it.

We went on tour on the second day where we watched the Barong and Kris Dance, visited Goa Gajah and Kintamani and tasted the most expensive coffee in the world, Luwak Coffee. We were also supposed to catch the sunset view in Uluwatu but we missed it.

Kintamani where we supposed to see Mt. Batur, one of the active volcanoes. But the clouds had covered most part of it.

On the third day we decided to go on separate ways. My two friends and I went to Pasar Badung in Denpasar. We sure bought some souvenirs at the art market.

I think this is the vegetable and fruit market. The place I was standing was the art market.

After Denpasar, we just went around Kuta to shop for more things. Hehe. Never ending shopping.

Bali has many shops like this. The choices of items are almost endless.

I love taking pictures of the streets and buildings. The designs are just unique. Contemporary with traditional elements.



I love such surrounding. I can walk this street every day. Haha.
Then, we headed on to Kuta Beach. The view is spectacular.

On Nyepi Day we just stayed indoors cos nobody was allowed to be out on the streets. Activities were minimalised and lights were switched off. This is their way of celebrating Nyepi Day.

Come the fifth day, we decided to go on tour again.


This Pura has many magnificent architectures.

We also visited Tanah Lot, the Pura on the sea. Pura is the term called for their place of worship.

The highlight of the day was when we went to Uluwatu.

The Kecak Dance performance was really interesting.

On the sixth day, again we went on our separate ways and the three of us just shopped around Poppy Road.

Sorry for the short journal. One thing for sure, Bali has really captivated me.

Just an update

Hey there. Yep, I'm home. Bali was amazing and already am planning to go for a second trip. Haha. But not so soon. Anyways, I'm recuperating from exhaustion. Traveling is exhausting. Will blog about my trip anytime soon. Cheers!

I'm gonna be wearing..

Hi there! Thank goodness I'm updating today. So I'll be leaving for Bali soon. These are just some of the clothes that I would love to bring along.

Sorry I couldn't edit the photos to be brighter cos currently am having problems with my laptop :(. I'm using my sister's laptop right now.
Anyways, like I said I couldn't care less whether to wear what's hot or not. For me it's the comfort that counts. However, coincidentally, floral print is the in thing right now. I was actually quite amazed with the number of floral print clothes I have.

I did some mini shopping today in preparation for the trip but ended up didn't get to buy what I had in mind due to time constraints. I like to match the skirts with cute tank tops (I'm in shortage of nice tank tops!) which don't need to cost more than RM10 each supposedly. I hate it when the clothes cost more than they are worth for. So I figured that I could find something cute in Bali instead.
