Miss blogging...

I just think I'm in dire need of a vacation. Work can be very demanding especially somewhere far from home. Also sad to say that my laptop has met its end after 4 years of service. On a positive note, it'll be an excuse to get a new one. In the meantime, I have to settle with this mini notebook that I'm using now. Truth is, I prefer bigger screen -_-.
Here's a necklace that I haven't got around to wear. Watched a youtube video on how to make a necklace look vintage. I was like..heck..this pendant already looks vintage. Usually I would avoid faded necklace but now I think it's kinda cool. I just changed the original green string to a metal chain.
Sorry for the out of focus pic. I'm just... tired...from a journey.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to visit Penang..again..next month. It's like my second state. Used to study there. I tweeted about LDR and stuff. That is, if you noticed. So I'm gonna be meeting him. Yay. Hehe.
Ok. Enough. I do miss blogging you guys. Thanks for keeping on reading. Really appreciate all of you.
Cheers! ^_^

p/s : I realised I've been using -_- and ^_^ to express my emotions quite often now.

*updated* I chose the wrong picture. -_- Supposed to upload this.

The Trends

Hey peeps! I know I haven't been blogging much, have I? Sometimes I just need the inspirations.
I am curious on what the current trends are and actually quite excited about it. After all we are just in the beginning of a new year. So we gotta expect new trends to emerge or making a comeback.
Of course style.com would be my source for the latest trends in fashion.
We have seen too many avant-garde fashion last year that I think it's refreshing to see more down-to-earth and wearable trends this season.
Here are some of the Spring 2011 looks that caught my eyes.
1. Loewe
2. Issa
3. Burberry Prorsum
Although not so much on the extreme cut, designers are playing it on the bright colors. To know what colors complement the main color, you can always refer to the amazing color wheel.
1. Anna Sui
2. Oscar De La Renta
3. Vivienne Westwood
 The lace trend. Nuff said.
 1. Jeremy Laing
2.  Ruffian
3. Tory Burch
Wearing a mid-calf length skirt can be tricky but take cue from these looks. I'm learning it now too.
 1. Isaac Mizrahi
2. Mary Katrantzou
3. Carven
When it comes to prints, I don't think there's any limitation. Certainly an excuse to wear more bold prints.
 1. Bottega Veneta
2. Doo.Ri
3. Max Azria
White is also on the loose. I like the idea of having only one other color to compete with white.
You can find more looks and trends at style.com. You can also find designer brands such as Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, Ralph Lauren, and more at My Wardrobe. In the meantime, just have fun with the trends while incorporating your own personal touch. That's what style is all about.
