Letting Go

I wanted to start selling some of my clothes which I wouldn't want to wear anymore. With age catching up, I feel like some of the clothes have to go to a "younger crowd"? I don't know. But it just feels that way.

The only problem is now, I'm having a difficult time to go to the post office. I'm working far in the rural area and just got to know my transfer application was not approved :(. It's ok. I'm gonna try again.

Back to the main topic, I've started a facebook page for it but it's not yet fully completed.

For now, I'm letting this one go.

The Timeless Dress

Let's face it. Kate ( now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge ) has already become a style icon everywhere she goes. I'm one of those who just love her sense of style.

We all know how her wedding dress exudes that classic and timeless look. It doesn't just stop there. I just love the way her evening dress drapes down beautifully and it does not have to be over the top. I'm glad that someone finally shares the same ideal in style. I mean the world just needs to calm down and need not to carry so many baggage. :)

Going Back To My Roots

Recently, we held a family-relatives gathering to celebrate Kaamatan. I rarely wore my traditional costume. So, I got a bit excited to wear it on that day. Here's a picture.

For my international readers, Kaamatan is also called Harvest Festival which is celebrated by the Kadazandusun people of Sabah (Borneo).  Wiki here.

It's also an opportunity to have a get-together with family, relatives and friends. Who doesn't love a good ol' celebration. 

Anyways, yesterday was my birthday. *Cricket sounds*

So yeah. Happy Birthday to me. I didn't get the chance to celebrate it but for the first time I don't really mind. Guess I was just exhausted cos the Kaamatan celebration was the day before. Not to mention I'm looking forward to celebrate it with someone special. Wink! Wink!
